Field Service Mechanic

The opportunity:

To support our regional Mackay operations (Dysart), we are seeking a trade qualified Heavy Vehicle Mechanic that enjoys being out and about on-road to take on a Field Services Mechanic role. Top industry hourly rates, penalties, shift allowances, paid flights and an even time roster (2 on / 2 off) for a positive work-life balance!

You’ll get a great variety of maintenance and repair tasks across several vehicle makes and models to keep every day fresh and exciting. We’re also heavily focused on investing in our dedicated employees and have introduced an electric vehicle upskill program to help them become dual-trade qualified (Diesel & Electric) and set them up for long term success.

The boxes you'll tick:

• Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent
• Previous experience in providing maintenance and repairs to heavy commercial fleet
• Minimum MR license (HR license or above preferred but not essential)
• Exposure to diagnostics via computer-controlled systems is a bonus
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
