As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Regional Network Operations Manager to lead our Network Officer teams across the Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast, Townsville and Cairns. This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a people-focused operations professional who thrives on driving performance, building capability, and delivering safe and efficient transport outcomes.

About the Role

Reporting into the leadership team, you'll oversee Network Officer operations across Queensland, ensuring consistency, compliance, and service excellence. You'll play a key role in delivering revenue protection strategies, strengthening stakeholder partnerships, and leading high-performing frontline teams.

This role offers a mix of operational leadership, coaching, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning, with occasional travel across regions.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Lead, mentor and develop Network Officer Supervisors and frontline teams across Queensland.
  • Drive revenue protection initiatives through strong stakeholder engagement and operational excellence.
  • Partner with Translink, Queensland Police Service, Queensland Rail and other key agencies to support safe and compliant public transport operations.
  • Ensure consistent application of Network Officer procedures, policies and auditing requirements across all regions.
  • Oversee rostering, workforce deployment and resource planning to maximise operational effectiveness.
  • Monitor operational trends and performance data to proactively address risks and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Lead community engagement programs, including partnerships with schools, youth groups and local organisations.
  • Provide high-quality reporting, analysis and recommendations to senior leadership on operational performance and sensitive matters.
  • Conduct investigations into complex operational issues and implement practical solutions that improve outcomes.

What You'll Bring

We're looking for a confident and capable operational leader with experience managing dispersed frontline teams in fast-paced environments.

To be successful, you'll have:

  • Demonstrated experience leading large operational or frontline service teams.
  • Strong people leadership, coaching and performance management capability.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience interpreting operational data and translating insights into action.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Previous experience within transport, public transport, compliance, security or related operational environments will be highly regarded.

Essential Requirements

  • Unrestricted C Class Driver Licence.
  • Valid Working with Children Check (or ability to obtain).
  • Current First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Ability to complete Criminal History Screening.
  • Flexibility to work across varying operational hours when required, including occasional evenings and weekends.
  • Willingness to travel across regional Queensland locations.
