The opportunity

We’re seeking a passionate and engaging Trainer – Classroom Facilitator to join our VIC/TAS Training Team. In this role, you’ll deliver high-impact training programs across classroom and online environments, supporting new and existing employees in areas such as General Induction, Customer Service, and Disability Awareness.

Key responsibilities

  • Facilitate professional, engaging training sessions both in-person and online
  • Create inclusive and positive learning environments
  • Use varied teaching methods to suit different learning styles
  • Maintain accurate training and safety records
  • Encourage collaboration and critical thinking through group activities
  • Manage classroom dynamics with professionalism and empathy
  • Continuously improve training delivery through feedback and reflection

What you'll bring

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116)
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in training or facilitation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of adult learning principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and learning management systems
  • Knowledge of safety legislation or a willingness to learn quickly
  • Desirable: Experience in the bus industry or customer service
