The Opportunity:
Our Women Up Front Trainee Bus Driver Program offers you the support and training you need to become a licensed and confident bus driver. This includes:
- A friendly and supportive environment
- An extensive induction training program with a mix of classroom and on-road training
- Training to obtain a Heavy Rigid (HR) licence
- A 12-month training program (mix of classroom and on the job training) to gain a nationally recognised qualification (Certificate III in Driving Operations - Bus)
- Industry leading pay throughout your training
- You will be assigned a buddy throughout the training process to support your development
- 7 Depot locations - North Fitzroy, Preston, Thomastown, Doncaster, Keysborough, Heatherton & Sunshine West.
We’re after people with:
- Excellent customer service skills and who enjoy working with people
- A current Australian car driver’s licence (full licence held for minimum 2 years)
- Hold Australian work rights (Permanent Resident or Australian Citizen)
- Willingness to have a pre‐employment functional, drug and alcohol assessment
- Willingness to obtain a Driver Accreditation and Working With Children Check
**Please note those shortlisted must attend an assessment centre from our North Fitzroy depot.
