The Opportunity
This is a pivotal role where you'll ensure our people deliver exceptional service to our passengers and customers through outstanding driver training and customer experience support. You'll combine your passion for coaching and development with practical, hands-on training delivery, both in the classroom and on the road.
What You'll Do
- Facilitate engaging classroom training sessions for new and experienced drivers, covering safety, customer service and efficient vehicle operation
- Coordinate and deliver on-road skills instruction, supporting participants to gain their HR licence
- Assess driver competence through practical evaluations and provide constructive, development-focused feedback
- Mentor and support drivers, fostering a positive learning environment and a proactive safety culture
- Maintain accurate training and HSE data, and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend improvements
- Handle inbound and outbound customer feedback with empathy and professionalism, keeping accurate records
- Support the Service Delivery team in investigating and resolving customer complaints in line with contractual obligations
- Collaborate with depots, operations and frontline teams to resolve issues and reduce repeat complaints
- Analyse feedback and complaint trends to support continuous service improvement
About You:
Required:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Desirable:
- Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
- Certificate III in Driving Operations
- Practical experience delivering heavy vehicle driver training, preferably in bus
