Senior Test Analyst | Boomi Integration
Greenfield Transformation Project | Melbourne, VIC
The opportunity:
Due to significant business growth, Kinetic are currently embarking on a large-scale global transformation program and looking for an experienced Senior Test Analyst with hands-on experience in Boomi Integration to help deliver our large-scale technology transformation program.
This is an initial fixed term full-time contract for 18 months, however due to the scale of our transformation program this may extend.
Key accountabilities:
- Perform hands-on testing by creating test scenarios and test cases based on project and business requirements.
- Able to utilise Azure DevOps or JIRA X-Ray to document test scenarios and test cases.
- Conduct end-to-end test execution, including logging test results and issues, and performing defect re-testing until resolution
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Work with 3rd party vendors or developers in testing to ensure delivery as per design specifications and governance processes.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of testing principles and processes
- Collaborate with business users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to assist with test execution and ensure accurate results
- Demonstrated experience in testing small to large system projects including changes for major software developments and other changes e.g. system upgrade projects, migration project.
What you will bring:
- Background of hands-on testing experience within Boomi Integration Platform of similar is essential
- Experience working in different system testing processes, methodologies, and best practices (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, V-Model).
- Experience in obtaining business requirements from users and conducting testing execution and testing documentation/artefacts
- Experience in testing in transport industry would be highly regarded but not a must
- ISTQB or similar testing certification is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic greenfield project environment
