Lead with purpose in a dynamic remote operations role

We’re seeking an experienced and motivated operational leader to join Kinetic as the Manager – South Australia, overseeing our transport services based in Olympic Dam. This is a FIFO role on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster, ideally suited to someone with prior experience in fly-in-fly-out operations and working in remote environments.

About the Role

As Manager – SA, you’ll be responsible for the overall delivery and performance of our operations across the region. You’ll lead a small, collaborative and diverse team, champion safety and compliance, and drive operational excellence while ensuring alignment with customer needs and community expectations.

This role will suit a professional who understands the demands and dynamics of FIFO work, including the unique challenges of managing services in remote locations and on mining sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide transformational leadership and drive a culture of safety and continuous improvement
• Manage end-to-end operational performance, including people, fleet, and service delivery
• Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients and community partners
• Monitor compliance with government legislation and company procedures
• Support team development through coaching, mentoring and performance management

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in operational or logistics management, ideally within transport or FIFO settings
• Understanding of remote operations and mining site logistics
• A values-led leadership style and passion for developing high-performing teams
• Strong planning and decision-making skills, with the ability to juggle strategic and day-to-day priorities
• Proven stakeholder engagement and customer service experience
• A collaborative mindset and a resilient, outcome-focused approach
• A valid MR/HR License and a valid SA Drivers Authority or willingness to obtain.
