About the Role
Due to significant global growth, Kinetic are undertaking a large scale, multi stream program of work designed to transform our technology landscape, create simplified, consistent ways of working, and ensure our future growth plans are underpinned by seamless technology products and processes.
This role oversees the end-to-end migration lifecycle including scope definition, extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), validation, reconciliation, defect management, and cutover planning. The Data Migration Lead will work closely with internal analysts, business SMEs, Data Governance Leads, SI Partners, and system owners to ensure high-quality, fit-for-purpose data is available at go-live and beyond.
What You Will Do
- Lead end‑to‑end data migration delivery across our Asset Management transformation.
- Drive data extraction, cleansing, validation, and reconciliation activities.
- Manage migration plans, schedules, mock loads, risks, and stakeholder alignment.
- Build and maintain source‑to‑target mappings, transformation rules, and documentation.
- Collaborate with IT, architects, SMEs, and SI partners to ensure readiness and data quality.
- Apply strong SQL, advanced Excel, and data validation skills within large transformation programs.
What You Will Need
- 5+ years in data migration, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience delivering complex multi‑system migrations
- Strong understanding of ETL processes, data pipelines, and migration tools.
- Skilled in coordinating across business and technical teams to manage requirements, timelines, and risks.
- Hands‑on capability with SQL, advanced Excel, and data validation.
- Experience in large‑scale transformation or system implementation programs.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
