HSE Business Analyst

  • Help shape the implementation of a new HSEQ platform across our Australian and New Zealand operations.
  • Translate complex business requirements into practical processes and system solutions.
  • Develop user training and equip teams for a seamless transition to the new system.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced HSE Business Analyst to support the implementation of Kinetic’s HSEQ platform across Australia and New Zealand. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape HSE operations on a 12 month fixed term contract.

Reporting to the HSE Project Manager, you’ll work closely with our vendor and internal stakeholders to translate business requirements into practical system solutions, map future-state processes and develop training and documentation to support successful change.

Collaborating with HSE, Operations, IT and project teams, you’ll help ensure operational needs are reflected in the solution, and that their team members are supported in learning a new way of working.

What You Will Do

  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops to gather requirements, document user stories and identify gaps between current and future-state processes.
  • Map and document HSE processes including incident management, investigations, hazard reporting, corrective actions and regulatory reporting.
  • Partner with software vendors and technical teams to support system configuration and validate requirements and integrations.
  • Develop new HSE processes and corresponding documentation to promote consistent ways of working across the organisation.
  • Design and develop training plans and materials, including user guides, quick reference guides and e-learning content.
  • Coordinate UAT, assess go-live readiness and support deployment, troubleshooting and user adoption.

What You Will Need

  • Demonstrable business analysis experience, ideally supporting large system implementation or business transformation projects.
  • Strong skills across requirements gathering, process mapping and documentation.
  • Experience translating business needs into functional requirements, workflows and practical system solutions.
  • Experience developing end user training materials and supporting change management and business readiness.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to communicate effectively between vendors and internal stakeholders across different departments.
  • A structured, analytical approach with strong attention to detail and a focus on practical, user-friendly outcomes.
  • Experience with HSE systems, workplace safety processes or multi-site operational environments will be highly regarded though not essential.
