Kickstart your career with Kinetic – Australia and New Zealand’s largest and most diverse bus operator. We’re looking for a motivated and curious Junior Network Analyst to join our South East Queensland operations team.

This is an ideal role for a recent graduate or someone early in their career who enjoys working with data, solving real-world problems, and contributing to meaningful public transport outcomes. You'll work closely with experienced analysts and operational teams to understand network performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and support smarter, more efficient service delivery.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting data analysis for bus network and service performance using Excel, Power Query and Power BI.
• Assisting in the preparation of reports, dashboards and performance summaries.
• Identifying inefficiencies in transport operations and recommending improvements.
• Collaborating with internal teams and contributing to service planning.
• Using data insights to support customer experience and community-focused initiatives.

What you'll bring:

• A relevant tertiary qualification in Applied Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• An interest or some experience with tools like SQL, Python or R.
• Solid understanding of Excel and a willingness to learn Power BI.
• Strong communication skills and an eagerness to grow in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• A proactive, analytical mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
