Kinetic is Australia and New Zealand’s largest and most diverse bus operator, with a proud reputation for putting people first and supporting the communities we serve. We’re currently on the lookout for an experienced and passionate Operations Supervisor to join our team in Gladstone.

In this vital leadership role, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of our local depot – ensuring services run safely, efficiently and in line with our values of performance, care, and community.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supervising the safe, compliant and efficient delivery of daily operations across the region
• Leading and developing a team of drivers and operations staff
• Managing rosters, shift coverage and fatigue compliance in accordance with legislation
• Ensuring adherence to Kinetic and client policies, procedures, and safety systems
• Coordinating with workshop and maintenance teams to keep the fleet running reliably
• Conducting toolbox talks, pre-starts, and acting as the link between the depot, clients and senior leadership
• Supporting a customer-focused culture and contributing to business performance
• Participating in the on-call roster, including after hours and weekends when required

What you’ll need to bring:

• Previous experience in an operational leadership role within a high-paced, blue-collar environment
• Strong knowledge of transport/logistics operations and workforce management
• A valid MR (or above) driver licence and Queensland Driver Authority (or willingness to obtain)
• First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Sound judgement, adaptability and a solutions-focused mindset
• Confident use of MS Office and the ability to learn internal systems
• A collaborative leadership style with a focus on building high-performing teams
