The Opportunity

As an Operations Control Centre Supervisor, you’ll play a central role in keeping our services running smoothly leading real‑time operational decision‑making, supporting frontline teams, and ensuring our customers experience safe, reliable and high‑quality transport.

What You’ll Be Doing
Network Operations Leadership
- Oversee the day‑to‑day running of the Operations Control Centre to keep services operating smoothly.
- Make real‑time decisions to manage delays, driver availability, vehicle allocation and unexpected incidents.
- Monitor live network performance and respond quickly to any emerging issues.
- Report incidents, operational exceptions and customer‑impacting events.
- Monitor compliance with policies, procedures and safety standards
Service Delivery & Fleet Coordination
- Make sure the right vehicle and the right driver are assigned to every trip.
- Coordinate changeovers, refuelling, cleaning, maintenance movements and overall fleet presentation.
- Keep track of daily and weekly operational commitments to ensure all contract requirements are met.
- Look for opportunities to improve processes related to maintenance, safety, service delivery and operational efficiency.
People & Performance
- Lead and support Operations Controllers and drivers during day‑to‑day operations, disruptions and emergencies.
- Complete rostering and scheduling, identify patterns, risks and providing informed recommendations to management.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with workshop staff, contractors, schools and operational leaders.
About You
You’re a confident operations leader who stays calm under pressure and enjoys the challenge of keeping services moving. You’re solutions‑focused, safety‑driven, and great at communication whether over radio, phone or in person.
You’ll bring:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an operations supervision or coordination role
- Experience leading teams in a fast‑paced operational setting
- Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills
- Ability to make quick, sound decisions in live operational environments
- A collaborative mindset with a commitment to continuous improvement
- A valid MR or HR licence and a PTD
- Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
