Driver Supervisor – Molendinar

About the Role

As Driver Supervisor, you’ll lead a team of bus drivers to deliver reliable, efficient and customer-focused services. Reporting to the Depot Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of services from the depot and maintaining compliance with safety, fatigue management and regulatory standards.

This is a Monday to Friday position, with the successful candidate required to work a rotating morning and afternoon roster to ensure strong on-the-ground leadership and support during key operational hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support a team of drivers to achieve performance and service delivery outcomes
  • Manage day-to-day resourcing, rostering, leave and absenteeism
  • Monitor driver behaviour and coach for improvement
  • Handle operational issues, including incidents and customer feedback
  • Ensure compliance with fatigue guidelines, safety policies and Enterprise Agreements
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and performance management processes
  • Provide after-hours incident support as part of an on-call roster
  • Maintain high fleet presentation standards and assist with depot facilities coordination

What You’ll Bring

  • Demonstrated experience leading high performing teams in an operational setting
  • Strong knowledge of logistics or transport systems
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to change
  • MR licence (or willingness to obtain) and a valid State Driving Authority
  • Working with Children Check and First Aid/CPR (or willingness to obtain)
  • Strong computer literacy and data entry skills
