The opportunity:
We're looking for a skilled and motivated Panel Beater / Body Builder to join our Caloundra workshop team, helping maintain repair our fleet of buses to the highest standards.
In this hands-on role, you'll be responsible for repairing and fabricating bus body components to keep our fleet in top condition. If you take pride in your trade and enjoy working in a supportive, safety-focused environment, we'd love to hear from you.
You’ll be involved in:
- Repairing and replacing damaged bus panels, frames, and structural components to maintain vehicle integrity.
- Repairing and fabricating body parts and fittings based on technical drawings and specifications.
- Repairing and finishing surfaces through welding, grinding, and preparation for painting.
- Mentor and assist Apprentices and Trade Assistants as required whilst making sure they complete all relevant work safely and at the required quality.

The boxes you’ll tick:
- Certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology or other relevant qualification.
- Previous experience in panel/body repairs on heavy vehicles.
- Medium Rigid (MR) licence or higher is preferred but not mandatory.
- Forklift licence is preferred but not mandatory.
- Good understanding of workshop operations is advantageous.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
