HSE Specialist

About the Role
Reporting to the Manager – HSE, you will provide practical, day-to-day support to Managers and Supervisors, helping to reduce incidents, injuries and at-fault claims while embedding a positive safety culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide HSE advice and support across investigations, risk assessments and day-to-day safety matters
- Deliver cyclical HSE activities to drive continuous improvement and reduce incidents
- Analyse and report on safety trends, providing insights and recommendations
- Partner with operational leaders and cross-functional teams to implement HSE initiatives
- Promote a proactive, values-driven safety culture across the organisation
About You
- Degree in Health, Safety & Environment or a related discipline
- Proven experience supporting leaders in workplace health and safety
- Strong knowledge of safety and quality systems (AS/NZS4801, ISO14001, ISO9001)
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and build relationships
- Hands-on, organised and solutions-focused with strong attention to detail
