Waymark Hotels are seeking dedicated and motivated Retail Managers to lead our bottleshops across our regional locations in Queensland. This opportunity is perfect for someone who is looking to progress their career in a unique location. The Role:

As the Retail Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the bottleshop. You’ll lead by example, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing inventory, and driving sales to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of retail team, fostering a positive work environment.
  • Manage daily operations, including inventory control, merchandising, shrinkage and roster scheduling.
  • Ensure compliance with all liquor licensing regulations.
  • Drive sales and profitability through excellent customer service and strategic planning.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance, implementing improvements where needed.
  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally.

About You:

  • Minimum of 2 years management experience in a retail or bottleshop environment.
  • Proven experience in the liquor, FMCG or hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Knowledge of liquor products and Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certification.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first mindset.
