About the role

We have a permanent position for a Project Leader based at Osborne Park with the Operations Services Treatment and Resource Recovery (TaRR) Projects Team. You’ll be responsible for representing the needs and requirements of asset management and other key stakeholders in the successful delivery of fit for purpose minor Projects which meet operational, asset management, financial, environmental, and social requirements.

What the role will involve

  • Representing, as part of the project team, asset management and operational stakeholders by being a single point of contact through the project lifecycle
  • Identifying key stakeholders of the project and the appropriate support resources required
  • Undertaking early identification and resolution of key stakeholder issues relating to project delivery and design
  • Liaise with key stakeholders throughout the project delivery to keep them informed of all business impacts and risks presented by the project
  • Assisting in the preparation of capital investment project business cases by ensuring that business interests are considered
  • Assist in the development of the User Requirements Register and ensure that defined requirements in regard to safety, environment, reliability, operability and maintainability are fully considered throughout the asset creation process

Key skills and experience

You’ll have project management experience, with demonstrated ability delivering complex initiatives effectively. You’ll be tertiary or trade level qualified in a relevant engineering discipline and have considerable water-related operational and asset management experience within a capital-intensive industry. Alternatively, candidates with extensive experience in water operations and asset management in similar high-demand environments will also be considered. Strong problem solving abilities, a strategic mindset, and ability to collaborate and influence stakeholders will be key to success in this role.
