About the role
We have a permanent opportunity for a Senior Planner to join our Metro Wastewater Networks team. The role will focus on asset planning activities associated with wastewater conveyance projects in the Perth Metro area. You’ll work with several groups within Water Corporation to optimise the Metro Wastewater Conveyance Network to ensure our conveyance system is capable of conveying wastewater efficiently, effectively and safely from our customers to the Metro Water Resource Recovery Facilities You’ll be responsible for assessing the system risks and developing optimal conveyance planning solutions to support land developments within the Perth Metro area.

What the role will involve:
- Assess asset and system performance and risk to inform investment decisions.
- Undertake wastewater network planning and develop capital, operating, regulatory, monitoring and maintenance plans.
- Develop investment programs, business cases and projects that mitigate risk and meet our asset investment objectives.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders regarding planning options, solutions and recommendations.
About you
You’ll be degree qualified in civil engineering, or similar discipline, with experience in conveyance planning for wastewater schemes. You’ll also have demonstrated experience with hydraulic modelling and analysis, report writing, presentation and financial analysis. Your ability to build and drive positive and collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders will ensure success in this role.
