About the role:

Are you an experienced remuneration and organisational development professional who thrives on solving complex workforce challenges? We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal – Remuneration and Organisational Development to lead enterprise-wide initiatives that strengthen our remuneration frameworks, organisational development capability, and workforce effectiveness.

In this influential role, you will provide expert advice and thought leadership across remuneration, benefits, job architecture, workforce analytics, and other organisational development activities. You will partner closely with senior leaders and stakeholders to deliver contemporary, data-driven solutions that support our strategic objectives and long-term sustainability.

What the role will involve:

As a trusted subject matter expert, you will:

  • Partner with the Remuneration and Benefits team to lead complex remuneration and organisational design initiatives that support business strategy and workforce priorities.
  • Provide expert advice on remuneration frameworks, allowances, job evaluation, grading, and organisational structures.
  • Drive the review, development, implementation, and ongoing governance of regional allowance frameworks across the organisation.
  • Analyse workforce, remuneration, and organisational data to generate insights that support informed decision-making in relation to organisational development and remuneration initiatives.
  • Partner with senior leaders, People Partners, Employment Relations, Payroll, and People Systems teams to deliver practical and effective solutions.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the job architecture framework and strategic workforce planning to ensure consistency, transparency, and sustainability.
  • Prepare high-quality recommendations, briefing papers, and business cases that influence strategic decisions.

Key skills and experience:

To be successful, you will demonstrate:

  • A degree qualification in Human Resources, Business, Commerce, or a related discipline.
  • Significant experience providing specialist remuneration, organisational development, or workforce consulting advice in complex environments.
  • Strong experience analysing and interpreting workforce and remuneration data to drive meaningful business outcomes.
  • Proven ability to build credibility and influence senior stakeholders through expert advice and evidence-based recommendations.
  • Experience working across organisational design, job architecture, workforce planning, and people-related improvement initiatives.
  • Highly developed analytical, problem-solving, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • The ability to balance strategic thinking with practical delivery and implementation.
