About the role

We're seeking a proactive individual to support medium to high-value and complex bid and contract activities. This role is great for someone looking to extend their experience in the construction field, with opportunities to work on high-value projects and a variety of different areas.

Plans, develops and establishes high value & complexity contracts and agreements for the procurement of goods and services, minor work, major works, drilling bores, equipment, design and construct including, Consulting Services, and Panel/Preferred Supplier Agreements.

What you can expect with this role

  • Facilitating and managing bid processes for all types of AS4000 suite construction works
  • Establishing contracts for the specified works requirements
  • Responsible for the procurement and bid activities through to Contract Award stage including bid issue to market, evaluations, contractual negotiations and contract finalisation, including PO’s and post award activities where required.
  • Providing support to Team Members and Stakeholders in Medium / Higher value & complexity bid processes

Your skills and experience

For this role, we are looking for great talent with:

  • Degree level qualification in a relevant discipline and/OR equivalent experience in Procurement, Purchasing and/or Supply Chain type roles
  • Experience in facilitating bid processes including development of Bid/Tendering Packs, facilitating Evaluation processes, conducting commercial analysis of bid submissions, and facilitating contract negotiation, approval and Award Processes
  • Attention to detail in review of contract documentation – Terms and conditions, Scopes, Commercial Pricing Schedules and vendor Proposals
  • Familiarity with general contract terms and conditions, different forms of contract and manage legal departures supported by internal counsel
  • Strong Written and Verbal Communications
  • Organizational and Prioritization skills
  • Experience in Government and/or GTE and/OR equivalent industry would be advantageous
