About the role

We are seeking a permanent Governance & Reporting – Officer based in Leederville, you will play a key role in enabling effective governance practices across ITG. You will work closely with stakeholders to ensure technology governance processes are consistent, compliant, and aligned with organisational standards and regulatory requirements.

What the role will involve

  • Supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Technology Governance Framework
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across ITG to ensure governance artefacts align with organisational and regulatory requirements
  • Developing, reviewing, and continuously improving governance tools, templates, and processes
  • Coordinating and managing the ITG reporting schedule, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of executive-level reports
  • Engaging with internal teams to gather inputs for performance summaries, risk reporting, dashboards, and briefing notes
  • Contributing to governance maturity uplift initiatives aligned with strategic objectives
  • Identifying opportunities to improve governance and reporting processes and implementing recommended enhancements
  • Maintaining governance registers, documentation, and systems to support audit readiness and compliance

Key skills and experience:

You are someone who enjoys structure, process improvement, and collaborating across teams to lift consistency and transparency. You will bring:

  • Experience in governance and reporting, ideally within IT/OT environments in government or large, multidisciplinary organisations
  • Strong understanding of governance principles, frameworks, and stakeholder engagement
  • Proven ability to influence, negotiate and build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • High-level writing and documentation skills, with experience producing high-quality reports or dashboards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Power BI and JIRA is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement practices and agile methodologies

Desirable:

  • Background in IT/OT governance or technology risk management
  • Experience applying governance frameworks and quality management systems
  • Ability to mentor and support colleagues in governance and reporting practices
  • Familiarity with contemporary technology governance standards and regulatory requirements
