About the role:

We currently have a permanent full-time opportunity available for a Principal OT Data Platforms to join our Strategy & Planning team in Leederville. In this role, you will be accountable for leading, providing strategic direction and high-level expertise for Operational Technology Data Platforms across the corporation as well as driving new solutions utilising these Platforms to ensure they meet current and future key business requirements

About you:

There are a few things we would like to see in your CV;

  • Engineering Degree level qualification, specialising in OT Data Platforms.
  • Extensive experience in design and implementation of OT Data Platforms. Specifically AVEVA PI.
  • Substantial experience working with (OT) Data Platforms in a large, diversified corporation.
  • Significant knowledge of OT Data Platforms as they apply to the function and performance of water utility assets.
  • Extensive knowledge of OT System Architecture and strategic requirements for a large, diversified corporation.
  • High level of knowledge of commissioning processes and procedures.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders with a fair and considered approach and be able to translate technical and complex information concisely for diverse audiences.

What will your work look like?

  • Leads the strategic direction and management of OT Data Platforms in line with section objectives and targets.
  • Lead and manage the research, evaluation and planning, design, proof of concept / pilot installation and commissioning of new OT Data Platforms.
  • Lead and manage development prototyping and initial implementations of OT Data Platforms.
  • Leads the system integration planning and design required for OT Data Platforms to integrate with OT and IT environments.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with external OT Data Platform stakeholders to investigate new technology solutions for OT Data Platforms to meet business objectives
  • Provide expert direction to OT Business Unit regarding selection and application of OT Data Platforms to provide fit for purpose platforms which meet business objectives.
  • Lead the development of new OT Data Platforms standards.
  • Leads the design and definition of OT Data Platform service level agreements with internal and external support teams as well as with business users of the platform.
