About the Role

We have an opportunity for a Project Engineer based in our Leederville office. In this role, you’ll provide engineering and project management support to assist in the delivery of water and sewerage projects in Aboriginal communities across the state. You’ll report to the Project Director, Assets Delivery – Aboriginal Communities Water Services and play a key role in delivering critical infrastructure projects.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate scoping, design, construction, commissioning, handover, and project close-out.
  • Plan, allocate, and manage tasks according to approved programs of work.
  • Provide technical support, collaborating with design consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Travel to Aboriginal communities to conduct investigations and to coordinate works and contracts.

 

About You

For this role, we are looking for great talent with: 

  • A qualification in engineering, project management, or a related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in a project engineering role.
  • Knowledge of tendering, contract award, and contract administration.
  • Strong skills in preparing and analysing project proposals and reviewing engineering work.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Enthusiasm and commitment to learn, grow and achieve outcomes
