About the role

We're looking for a capable and motivated team member to join our close-knit crew in Wyalkatchem. In this role, you'll play a vital part in maintaining and restoring water services across a large and critical network, helping ensure safe and reliable water reaches our customers and communities. From locating and repairing burst mains to excavating trenches, reinstating sites and responding to network faults, you'll be involved in a diverse range of tasks that make a real difference every day. What the role will involve

  • Maintain and restore essential water services by locating, repairing and replacing water mains, service connections and network assets across the region.
  • Operate a range of civil plant and equipment to excavate trenches, complete earthworks and safely carry out infrastructure maintenance activities.
  • Respond to network faults and unplanned outages, playing a key role in minimising disruptions for customers and local communities.
  • Reinstate work sites to a high standard, ensuring roads, verges and surrounding areas are left safe, tidy and compliant.

About you

  • Western Australian “C” Class minimum ‘HR’ Class Drivers Licence desirable.
  • Experience in civil work and/or water supply systems.
  • Certificate III in National Water Package
