About our Graduate program
As a Graduate with Water Corporation, you will gain real-world experience in line with your university studies. You’ll be given full support from experienced professionals and your peers in other disciplines while having the opportunity to explore different parts of the Water Corporation business over your rotations.
You will be joined by a diverse cohort of graduates, with many of our graduates staying on to have fulfilling careers with Water Corporation in the area where they feel the most aligned.
You will become part of the next generation of leaders in the Water Industry with structured development and career progression. As a forward thinking, innovative graduate, your ideas will help transform the way we work.
With us, you’ll have the variety and opportunity to shape your career path. The depth and breadth of our work means you can experience multiple roles in your Graduate rotations.
We follow a technical competency framework with Discipline Principals overseeing consistent technical development for all Engineers and Data Scientists. We also offer core development workshops for all Graduates to regularly come together to learn.
While the majority of our Graduate positions are based in the Perth Metro Area, regional rotations may form part of your journey, offering valuable on‑the‑ground experience across different locations.

Does this sound like you?
- You are based in WA
- You have unrestricted Australian work rights
- You have a genuine interest in water or wastewater treatment (any exposure or experience is highly regarded)
- You are motivated to learn, collaborate, and build a meaningful career in the water industry
- You are due to graduate, or have recently graduated, with a relevant degree in one of the following disciplines prior to the intake start date:
- Civil Engineering
- Chemical / Process Engineering
- Electrical Engineering (including Mechatronics, Control Systems, or Electronics)
- Environmental Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Data Science (Computer Science, Information Technology, or Data Analytics)
Please note: Candidates studying a three‑year Bachelor of Technology (Engineering) degree are not eligible for the Engineering disciplines within this program.

- Interviews and assessment centres will take place in May and June 2026.
