What does a Civil Operator do?

Think of a machine operator running a wastewater recycling plant, with a variety of machinery and equipment. You’ll:

• Maintain water and wastewater networks and treatment systems
• Inspect pipelines, repair faults, and upgrade systems
• Work outdoors and learn hands-on skills that open doors to future opportunities
• Assist in the production of Rhodes grass hay using centre pivot irrigation systems
• Operate and maintain various types of farm machinery

You’ll help maintain centre pivot irrigation systems, environmental and land management processes, wastewater treatment plant processes and farm machinery.

What you’ll need:

• WA HR class driver’s licence preferrable
• High-risk licence, white card (advantageous)
• Basic mechanical knowledge (advantageous)
• Chemical Handling experience
• No water / wastewater experience? No problem – we’ll train you!
