What does a Civil Operator do?
Think of a machine operator running a wastewater recycling plant, with a variety of machinery and equipment. You’ll:
- Maintain water and wastewater networks and treatment systems
- Inspect pipelines, repair faults, and upgrade systems
- Work outdoors and learn hands-on skills that open doors to future opportunities
- Assist in the production of Rhodes grass hay using centre pivot irrigation systems
- Operate and maintain various types of farm machinery
You’ll help maintain centre pivot irrigation systems, environmental and land management processes, wastewater treatment plant processes and farm machinery.
What you’ll need:
- WA HR class driver’s licence preferrable
- High-risk licence, white card (advantageous)
- Basic mechanical knowledge (advantageous)
- Chemical Handling experience
- No water / wastewater experience? No problem – we’ll train you!
