We have a fixed term opportunity as a Senior Advisor- Customer & Stakeholder based in Kalgoorlie available from 2nd February 2026 to 2nd February 2027.
Reporting to the Manager- Customer & Stakeholder for Goldfields and Agricultural Region (also located in Kalgoorlie) you will play a vital part in managing internal and external stakeholders, customer communication, and engagement activities across the region in accordance with corporate processes and Water Corporation objectives.
You will be part of our small (but mighty) team that manages a portfolio of key customers and stakeholders, including key local government stakeholders and major water consumers in the Region.
You will work closely with Operations and other internal stakeholders to deliver great outcomes for both the Corporation and our external customers.

Let’s summarise the role
Contribute to and maintain a safe working environment in the region.
Participate and contribute towards the goals and visions set by the Regional Lead Team to ensure the ongoing success of the region in meeting its performance obligations.
Identify and effectively relationship manage internal and external stakeholders.
Provide water efficiency advice to stakeholders, customers and community.
Work collaboratively and provide support within the regional Customer and Stakeholder Team comprising of one other Senior Advisor and the Manger- Customer and Stakeholder
Provide localised internal and external content for communication materials including written, audio visual and digital communication resources as required.
Provide stakeholder, customer and community insights to support corporate planning processes for water efficiency, communication strategies and regional project delivery.
Manage and/or support of the response and resolution of escalated customer queries as required.
Evaluate local sponsorship applications, liaise with applicants and coordinate the Corporation’s involvement for events supported.
Monitor local issues and events and coordinate pro-active media releases and/or responses to local media enquiries.
Coordinate/support responses to Priority Correspondence as required.

Key skills & experience
- Degree qualification in Communications, Business or other relevant discipline
- Relevant experience in dealing with internal/external customers, stakeholders, and industry groups on complex matters
- Demonstrated ability to liaise with and build relationships with customers, contractors, and stakeholders
- Ability to meet travel requirements of the role (mostly region-wide with occasional state-wide travel)
