Civil - Operator

About the role:

We have permanent opportunities in the Balcatta Depot for committed and enthusiastic Civil Operators. As part of the Water civil team, you will be regularly outdoors whilst operating, inspecting, and maintaining reticulated and distribution water and wastewater systems.

What the role will involve:

·    Carry out operation and maintenance tasks requiring use of specialist tools, plant, and equipment

·    Operate, maintain, and repair water, wastewater, and drainage assets

·    Participate in safe job-planning, team meetings, and inspections

·    Ensure all work is undertaken with safety as the first priority in the provision of a work environment where no injury is considered acceptable, and all activities are undertaken without compromising health and safety

·    Ability to work standby, overtime, and call-out availability as required

Key skills and experience:

·    Western Australian "C" or “MR” Class Drivers (Essential)

·    Working at Heights (Desirable)

·    Underground Service (Desirable)

·    Confined Space Entry (Desirable)

·    Excavator Ticket (Desirable)
