We have some exciting permanent opportunities the role of Senior Consultant – Customer Solutions in our Faults and Emergencies Team
Join the Faults & Emergencies team to provide a high-quality experience for the Corporation’s customers resolving a wide range of complex customer technical faults and emergency enquiries through a variety of customer service and corporate delivery services processes.
We have opportunities for full time 10-day fortnight and part time considered, and possible shift opportunities in the future.
About the role
Our faults team helps customers across the state with all water and wastewater faults and emergencies, supporting our customers 24/7/365, we play a critical role in making sure our customers receive first class service and that their fault issue is responded to as quickly as possible. As the first point of contact for these asset faults, we help the Corporation resolve a wide range of complex operational technical faults and emergency enquiries through a variety of customer service and corporate deliver services processes.

What you can expect with this role
• Provision of accurate and professional advice on operational technical fault and emergency enquiries.
• Resolve enquiries and provide information and advice on complex asset related faults that impact our customers.
• Interact with field crews to attain accurate operational information for updating customer channels.
• Ensure all adjustments to customer records are in accordance with Water Corporation policy, standards and guidelines.
• Independently determine, prioritise, and allocate work to operational staff to resolve customer faults and emergency issues in accordance with established business rules.
• Determine water system shutoff instructions for immediate deployment to field crews.
• Demonstrate a commitment to excellent customer service and the promotion of the Corporation’s vision and values.
Your skills and experience
For this role, we are looking for great talent with:
• Relevant experience in customer service, operations, maintenance, or technical business environment of a service utility to enable competent performance where Call Centre best practice and operational servicing systems and processes are practiced.
• Relevant experience working in a multichannel customer service environment.
• Relevant experience in various business systems including customer record systems, work execution systems and web applications
• Excellent interpersonal skills and having the ability to influence and negotiate successful outcomes should come to you naturally.
