Operational Communications & Engagement in Osborne Park

A fantastic opportunity to gain operational communications and engagement experience all while being based at our Osborne Park metro office. 

This 12-month fixed term opportunity will provide you with an excellent opportunity to be part of the communications and engagement team at our Treatment & Resource Recovery (TARR) Business Unit to support the delivery of external communications across the metro area. 

Your communications and engagement will cover a broad range of operational functions including water, wastewater, and catchment management.

We are open to considering a part-time arrangement of 0.8 FTE for the right candidate.

 

Don’t limit yourself to your desk!

You will be able to visit various sites and get practical hands-on understanding of the day-to-day operations of the business while delivering positive outcomes for the community.

You will utilise your community and stakeholder engagement skills working across a broad range of functions and areas, and with multiple teams and the community. 

You will have exposure to the delivery of operational issue and incident communications.

 

Be part of a collaborative team.

Whilst your immediate team is a small one, you will also be part of a great broader operational team. Your team has a big focus on sharing knowledge and learnings of the operational side of the business. You will collaborate to deliver proactive and successful communications for TARR.

 

Your skills and experience:

Degree level qualification and considerable experience in communications, public relations, marketing, or related discipline.

Considerable experience in community engagement, stakeholder and issues management including:

  • Customer relationship management.
  • Developing and implementing communication and community engagement strategies.
  • Production of communications materials.
  • Coordinating events.
