- Water efficiency project management and communications role
- Full time, Fixed term until Feb 2027 role based in Leederville
- Salary $115,561 + Super
About the role:
You will be working in a dynamic, outcome driven team to deliver cost effective customer facing water efficiency activities in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to reduce scheme water use in regional areas with supply capacity constraints.
This is a full-time role, and while some variations to this will be considered it will be up to the applicant to make a case for how the role requirements will be met.
What the role will involve:
- An opportunity to join a proactive team of water efficiency/community engagement specialists, and problem solvers to support water supply operations and planning in regional areas of the state.
- The ability to be involved in all aspects of an annual program cycle including planning, setup, delivery, procurement, budget management, progress reporting and evaluation.
- Experience in project management and delivery of residential and non-residential demand management initiatives.
About you
- Tertiary level qualification in science, engineering, resource management, environmental science, commerce, social sciences, communications or other related disciplines.
- Highly competent user of the Microsoft suite of programs, including Excel, Word and Power Point with proven ability to deliver high quality data driven reporting.
- Demonstrated effective collaborative development of data driven solutions and/or communications to deliver or improve customer facing programs.
- Substantial experience in proactively and confidentially engaging with stakeholders and customers including the ability to negotiate and influence behaviours, whilst providing excellent customer service.
- Strong organisational skills and program / project management experience related to the full cycle of program design, delivery, budget tracking, reporting, evaluation, and continuous improvement.
- Proven ability to apply analytical thinking, problem solving and sound judgement to project delivery.
- Interest/experience in water efficiency concepts, initiatives, tools and techniques which can be used to reduce scheme water use.
- Aptitude for developing regionally relevant activities based on understanding of customers and stakeholders in regional areas (where regional program work required).
