About the role

We have a permanent part time (3 days or flexible options) opportunity for a Senior Engineer based in Shenton Park joining our engineering team. You’ll provide corrosion control engineering expertise (coatings, materials selection, concrete and cathodic protection), undertake asset condition assessment, and support the efficient delivery of Asset Condition Assessments and asset failure investigation.

What the role will involve

  • Provide specialist corrosion control and asset durability engineering expertise to Water Corporation
  • Conduct asset audits and condition assessments and provide reports with recommendations for remedial actions
  • Work collaboratively in a supportive work environment
  • Learn from a multidisciplinary team of engineers, scientists and technicians
  • Be engaged in interesting water and wastewater infrastructure works 

About you

You’ll have a qualification in an engineering or science discipline, along with experience in the condition inspection, monitoring and assessment of assets. Your knowledge of corrosion control methods, positive attitude toward problem solving, troubleshooting and ability to collaborate and influence key stakeholders will ensure success in this role.
