About the role

Our Metering Services team have a fixed-term opportunity until April 2026. In this role, you will play a key part in the delivery of Regional Field Support activities across the Mid West and Goldfields Ag regions. You’ll be the first point of contact for Meter Readers, providing essential administrative support, scheduling work as well as monitoring and management of workflow.

You’ll join a supportive and experienced team where collaboration is key. This role offers you the chance to connect with people across the business, build new relationships, and grow your skills. You'll also have to travel throughout the region, meeting a wide range of stakeholders and gaining valuable insights along the way.

What the role will involve

  • Create and assign cyclic meter reading schedules, including meter sequencing.
  • Dispatch scheduled work to meter readers for reactive and planned tasks.
  • Monitor and adapt resource changes for meter readers when operational requirements change.
  • Manage the group inbox.
  • Booking and organising accommodation.
  • Reconciling and auditing purchases.
  • Provide general administrative support as required, including running reports daily.

About you

We’re looking for someone who is organised, reliable, and comfortable working in a busy, customer-focused environment. You’ll have experience with scheduling and coordinating tasks, and the ability to adjust plans when things change. Awareness of meter reading processes and workplace safety is important, along with strong time management and communication skills. You should be confident using Microsoft Office, and able to learn new systems quickly. Experience with Temetra and Grange is a plus.
