We have a permanent, full-time opportunity for a Customer Research & Insights – Analyst to join the Customer Experience team. Help to make a difference by bringing a customer voice to complex business decisions within an organisation which helps to manage one of the world's most precious resources.  

About the role

As part of the Customer and Strategic Insights team, lead and support the delivery research projects within the Customer Insights portfolio. This includes collecting, analysing, reporting, and driving action to   bring strategy to life, and to support data driven decision making across the business.

The role has a strong focus on supporting survey design, survey construction, and the analysis of the data generated from the insight's projects, with a view to identify and deliver actionable insights.

What you can expect with this role

  • Support the delivery of the customer insights program to enhance customer centricity and decision making across the enterprise.
  • Understand customer needs through research and insights
  • Investigate data from different sources, uncover new insights and customer understanding, develop compelling story-telling using the evidence.
  • Support the delivery of key business initiatives by working with stakeholders to develop the evidence and insights needed to inform decisions and measure improvements.
  • Collaborate with customer experience designers to understand how we can effectively measure customer journeys and improvement initiatives, helping to lift outcomes.
  • It’s an exciting time in our Research and insights team as we tackle new challenges to meet the changing expectations of our customers and community, as well as help to drive adoption of waterwise behaviours among our customers. 

Your skills and experience

  • Degree Qualification in commerce, communications, marketing or relevant discipline
  • Ability to understand and analyse data, create effective data visualisations, identify strategic insights, and use story-telling to effectively communicate the impacts and outcomes.
  • Ability to manipulate and analyse quantitative data sets.
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to deliver against project objectives.
  • Knowledge of Power BI is advantageous, but not essential.
