About the role:

We are currently seeking an experienced Officer – Small Tools & Equipment (Regional) to support the Canning Vale and Balcatta depots under the direction of the Small Tools & Equipment (ST&E) Team leader. This position supports our regional partners in standardising the purchasing of small tools & equipment across the state, as well as rolling out and utilising the Lucidity asset register software. The role ensures the data quality of our ST&E asset register records, promotes best practice across the state, and acts as a liaison for regions to delivery exceptional outcomes in the ST&E space.

A permanent full-time opportunity based at our Canning Vale depot with travel required according to business needs both within the Metro region and across the state.

What the role will involve:

• Undertake significant intrastate regional travel to roll out and maintain the Lucidity asset register utilisation, and support regional requirements as necessary.

• Support the standardisation of Small Tools & Equipment across the state.

• Maintain and update the asset records in the ST&E asset register to ensure compliance requirements, this will include the labelling of tools.

• Act as liaison and main point of contact for regional business partners representing ST&E.

• Maintain, repair, and purchase tools and equipment within the parameters of the Water Corporation Perth Region Field Services (PRFS) requirements.

• Perform test and tagging of tools and equipment items as required by the OHS Act & Regulations.

• Various other tasks as required to support the PRFS depots.

Key skills and experience:

• A valid unrestricted C Class Driver’s License.

• High Risk License Forklift ticket.

• Relevant experience in store operational processes.

• Experience with a wide variety of power tools & equipment.

• Relevant experience in reviewing WHS documentation and procedures for Contractors.

• Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
