About the role

Bring your engineering expertise to projects that shape sustainable water systems for communities across the State. Reporting to a supportive Team Leader, you’ll play a hands-on role in planning and delivering water, wastewater, and drainage projects.

What you can expect with this role

In this role, you’ll support the delivery of water, wastewater, and drainage projects from planning through to completion. You’ll coordinate activities, review designs and contracts, and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards. Working closely with internal teams, contractors, and consultants, you’ll help manage progress, resolve issues, and contribute to successful project outcomes.

Your skills and experience

For this role, we are looking for great talent with:

  • Degree qualification in an engineering discipline.
  • Experience in mechanical engineering, with exposure to project environments.
  • Water industry experience is highly regarded.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and scheduling abilities.
  • Solid understanding of contracts, including the ability to interpret and review terms.
  • Experience in project delivery, including scheduling and cashflow management.
  • Current driver’s licence (essential).
