Currently, we have two fantastic 2-year fixed-term opportunities for enthusiastic and driven professionals to join the Legal Services - Finance team as Contracts Specialists.
About the role
We're seeking a proactive individual to support medium to high-value bid and contract activities mainly in the maintenance area. This role is great for someone looking to extend their experience in the construction field, with opportunities to work on medium to high-value projects and a variety of different areas.
This includes planning, developing and establishing medium to high value & complexity contracts and agreements mainly for the procurement of maintenance services and works and can including but not limited to goods and services, minor work, major works, equipment, design and construct, consulting services and Panel/Preferred Supplier Agreements.

What you can expect with this role
- Facilitating and managing bid processes for all types of AS4000 suite construction works, panels and PSA’s.
- Establishing contracts for the specified works requirements.
- Responsible for the procurement and bid activities through to Contract Award stage including bid issue to market, evaluations, contractual negotiations and contract finalisation, including PO’s and post award activities where required.
- Providing support and guidance to Team Members and Stakeholders.
Your skills and experience
- Degree level qualification in a relevant discipline &/OR equivalent experience in Procurement, Purchasing and/or Supply Chain, Category Management type roles
- Experience in facilitating bid processes including development of Bid/Tendering Packs, facilitating Evaluation processes, conducting commercial analysis of bid submissions, and facilitating contract negotiation, approval and Award Processes
- Attention to detail in review of contract documentation – Terms and conditions, Scopes, Commercial Pricing Schedules and vendor Proposals
- Familiarity with general contract terms and conditions, different forms of contracts, AS4000 suite, Panels, Preferred Supplier Agreements, Category Management.
- Review and manage legal departures to contractual clauses supported by internal counsel
- Experience in Government &/or GTE &/OR equivalent industry would be advantageous
