To thrive in this role, you'll have:

  • Proven Electrical and Instrumentation experience, ideally within pumping, treatment or network infrastructure.
  • The ability to work independently and make safety critical decisions on site.
  • A strong focus on quality assurance and water safety standards.
  • Resilience to work in varying environments, including remote locations and changing conditions.
  • A genuine willingness to travel throughout regional and remote Western Australia and as part of a planned mobilisation roster, being open to spending regular periods away from home.

You will help to keep essential services flowing by:

  • Performing planned and reactive maintenance while installing essential electrical and instrumentation assets across a variety of operational sites.
  • Supporting the reliable delivery of water and wastewater services that communities across Western Australia rely on every day.
  • Undertaking HV switching activities when required to support operational performance and reliability.
  • Working with advanced technology
  • Maintaining and troubleshooting PLC, SCADA, instrumentation and communications systems across a broad range of assets.

What we are looking for

  • WA Electrical Licence
  • Electrical Dual Trade Certificate with a specialisation in Instrumentation.
  • Cabling accreditation.
  • ACMA Restricted Cabling Registration where required.
  • High voltage capability
  • Demonstrated competence in HV switching activities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regularly to regional and remote locations across Western Australia as part of a structured mobilisation schedule
