About the role 

We are seeking a delivery-focused and highly collaborative Senior Analyst - Delivery Enablement and Advisory to join our Portfolio Management Office. This is a hands-on advisory role working alongside project teams and business stakeholders to understand delivery challenges, solve problems and turn analysis into practical action.

You will support initiatives across the delivery lifecycle, from early problem definition and business-case development through to delivery reviews, implementation planning, lessons learned and follow-through of agreed actions. The role will suit someone who enjoys working directly with people and gains satisfaction from helping teams solve difficult problems and deliver meaningful outcomes.

What the role will involve: 

  • Partner with project teams and business stakeholders to resolve delivery challenges and progress priority initiatives.
  • Facilitate root cause analysis, lessons learned, delivery deep dives, health checks and readiness assessments.
  • Support business cases from problem definition and options analysis through to recommendation and implementation planning.
  • Translate analysis and stakeholder input into clear recommendations, agreed actions and practi
  • Help project leads address risks, issues, dependencies and readiness gaps, maintaining momentum through to resolution.
  • Facilitate constructive discussions that challenge assumptions, build alignment and secure stakeholder ownership.
  • Prepare concise, executive-ready reports, decision papers and presentations that simplify complex information.
  • Strengthen delivery planning, governance, assurance, risk management, benefits realisation and project controls.
  • Build trusted networks that connect teams with the right expertise, information and decision-makers.
  • Improve delivery capability through coaching, practical guidance, lessons learned, tools and learning materials.

Key skills and experience: 

About you: 

You are a practical and positive problem-solver who enjoys working directly with people and helping teams make progress. You can move confidently between detailed analysis, stakeholder facilitation and clear executive advice.

  • A relevant qualification in business, project management, commerce, data and analytics, engineering or a related discipline.
  • Considerable hands-on experience supporting projects, programs, business improvement or transformation initiatives.
  • Experience working with business and project teams to resolve delivery problems and progress agreed actions.
  • Experience developing business cases, options assessments, implementation plans or similar delivery documentation.
  • Experience facilitating root cause analysis, lessons learned, delivery reviews or other structured problem-solving activities.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, including the ability to identify underlying causes and practical solutions.
  • Strong communication, workshop facilitation and stakeholder-management skills, with confidence to constructively challenge assumptions.
  • A track record of building stakeholder buy-in and translating analysis into implemented actions and outcomes.
  • Sound knowledge of delivery governance, project controls, assurance, risk management and benefits realisation.
  • A constructive, resilient and goal-focused approach that maintains positive momentum when delivery becomes difficult.
