About the Role
We’re looking for a proactive and strategic Coordinator – Banding Program to lead the planning and delivery of a region-wide inspection and maintenance program for above-ground steel mains across the Goldfields and Agricultural Region.
This is a brand-new role with plenty of scope to bring your ideas to the table!
You will be the focal point for coordinating the 3-year banding cycle, ensuring inspections are completed, data flows into asset planning systems, and works are scheduled and prioritised effectively.
You’ll also lead the development of the main conduit shutdown schedule, working closely with multiple teams across the region to balance resources, manage logistics, and keep things running smoothly.
Key Areas of What You Will Be Doing
Plan & Coordinate: Deliver the annual banding and markup programs, including scheduling, resourcing, and logistics.
Lead Shutdown Planning: Develop and oversee the main conduit shutdown schedule in collaboration with stakeholders.
Drive Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for better ways of working and help shape new procedures.
Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise across districts, workshops, and teams to align priorities and ensure smooth delivery.
Support Safe Delivery: Champion safety-first planning and execution across all activities.
What You Will Bring to the Table!
- Strong planning and coordination skills with a big-picture mindset.
- Ability to balance competing priorities and work flexibly across a distributed team.
- Great communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strategic thinking and a knack for problem-solving.
- Experience with project planning tools (Microsoft Project desirable).
- Familiarity with infrastructure asset systems (Maximo knowledge a plus).

Ideally You will Possess
Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and considerable experience in workforce planning, scheduling and coordinating the delivery of work a large infrastructure-based service organisation.
OR
Substantial experience in workforce planning, scheduling, and coordinating the delivery of work in a large infrastructure-based service organisation.
Relevant experience in project management in an operational environment
Other Details
- Some travel required across the region (pool vehicle provided).
- Valid driver’s licence required.
- Predominantly office-based with occasional site visits.
