Currently, we have a fantastic permanent opportunity for an enthusiastic and driven professional to join the Finance team as a Facilities Projects - Senior Advisor.

About the role:

You will Provide facilities management expertise and be responsible for Project Management of new facilities and refurbishment of existing facilities on assigned projects.

What you can expect with this role

  • Plans and estimates the cost and resource requirement necessary for providing accommodation and project services
  • Provides information for planning and priority setting for Corporation facilities and associated support assets
  • Liaises, consults, and negotiates with Business Units and Regions to ensure efficient and responsive planning and project management of facilities
  • Contracts Consultants, Architects and Engineers for design and approval
  • Develop design briefs, specifications, and tender documentation for construction projects.
  • Establishes contracts with service providers for management of areas occupied by the Corporation

Key skills and experience:

  • Substantial experience in project management and construction
  • Substantial experience managing diverse workgroups of consultants and contractors on large projects
  • Substantial experience in Facility management and office and commercial fit-out in a large commercial organisation
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget
  • Knowledge of relevant building codes and Australian standards
  • Ability to understand and interpret standards and OSH
