We are seeking a highly capable and strategic Lead - Safety and Wellbeing Projects to drive the delivery of complex, organisation-wide initiatives that improve safety, wellbeing, risk management and business performance across Water Corporation.

Reporting to the Manager – HSE Assurance Reporting & Projects, this is a key leadership role responsible for planning, delivering and embedding transformational projects and programs from concept through to implementation and benefits realisation. Working with senior leaders and diverse stakeholder groups, you will help shape and deliver initiatives that strengthen organisational capability and create sustainable change.

What You'll Do

• Lead the delivery of complex safety, wellbeing and business improvement projects.
• Develop project strategies, business cases, implementation plans and governance frameworks.
• Manage project scope, budgets, risks, dependencies and benefits realisation.
• Drive organisational change activities to support the successful adoption of new systems, processes and ways of working.
• Engage and influence a broad range of stakeholders across the business.
• Lead multidisciplinary project teams and delivery partners to achieve successful outcomes.
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.

About you:

You will be an experienced project or program leader with a proven track record of delivering complex organisational change initiatives in large and operationally diverse environments.

You'll also have:

• A degree qualification in Project Management, Business, Organisational Change, Management or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Project management certification such as PRINCE2, MSP, PMBOK.
• Demonstrated capability to lead large-scale projects, programs or transformation initiatives and influencing at senior levels.
• Experience developing business cases and delivering project plans using strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in managing project budgets, risks and benefits realisation.

Highly regarded:

• Experience in safety, risk, or operational improvement programs
• Experience working in utilities, infrastructure, resources or other complex operational environments.
