About the role
The Brand & Campaigns Team exists to position and govern our brand to build trust & value with customers. As part of this team, the Brand TL is responsible for executing brand campaigns across owned and paid channels to drive an uplift in brand health and achieve business outcomes. You’ll lead a team of 3 social media & marketing professionals, and work to embed our brand positioning, key waterwise campaigns & implement our social media strategy to build brand love.

What you can expect with this role
- You’ll lead, coach and mentor a team of brand and social media communications specialists to execute on the approved brand and social media strategies.
- You’ll manage the coordination, development and implementation of brand programs, campaigns, projects and initiatives that improve brand health, customer perceptions and achieve business outcomes. This includes managing social media content planning & response.
- You’ll monitor and review brand marketing programs and projects to suggest areas for performance improvement and inform future recommendations.
- You’ll make recommendations towards the strategic development of initiatives relating to brand programs and projects.
- You’ll engage with relevant stakeholders regularly to improve ways of working and consult and seek feedback in order to finalise marketing recommendations and agree key milestones to meet business objectives.
- You’ll assist in our customer communication response during any water service interruptions and incidents.
Your skills and experience
There are a few things that we’ll look for in your CV.
You’re a brand or campaign manager with experience managing & motivating a small team. You understand all the elements that make up a marketing mix both traditional and digital, and how to apply these consistently across every customer touch point to positively influence community perceptions. You’re well known for your collaborative approach and ability to develop strong relationships both with your internal stakeholders and external agency partners. You use your technical campaign knowledge to translate internal briefs and feedback into actionable steps that drive real business outcomes.
The specific skills we’re looking for are:
- Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, business or a related discipline.
- Considerable experience in brand governance, process and application and alignment to corporate style
- Campaign management – from briefing, to creative concepts, to media planning, implementation, optimisation and reporting
- Relevant leadership experience including leading or mentoring a team of marketing, brand, campaign or communications professionals.
- Relevant experience in communicating complex issues effectively to a diverse range of audiences
- High focus on collaboration, especially in cross functional teams, working across multiple
