 As a General Medicine Physician, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive medical care, diagnosing and treating a wide range of health conditions, and promoting overall patient wellness. Position: General Medicine Physican

Location: Western Australia

Role Highlights:

  • Provide a general medicine service provision in accordance with departmental needs during normal working hours and as rostered for after hours and weekends.
  • Service provision will encompass inpatient, outpatient and day care as determined and may vary from time to time depending on organisational needs, objectives, organisational KPIs.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient-centered care.
  • Utilize your diagnostic skills to assess, diagnose, and treat patients across diverse medical needs.
  • Contribute to a holistic approach to healthcare, ensuring patients receive timely attention and appropriate treatment.

Qualifications:

  • AHPRA registration.
  • Demonstrated skills in General Medicine, High Dependency Care and Coronary Care at senior level.
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
  •  Significant experience in rural and remote general medicine provision and sound understanding of remote area health service provision is desirable.
  • Ability to work as an effective team member
  • Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of the Aboriginal Cultural Respect Framework
