Position Overview:

  • The Service Delivery Team Leader plays a pivotal role in our organization, collaborating closely with the team members and the broader Account Management team. The primary focus of this role is to source, attract, onboard, place, and support candidates, with an emphasis on meeting targets and fostering a collaborative environment within the team. The Service Delivery Team Leader is also responsible for maximizing opportunities within their assigned market and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the employment processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the recruitment process with precision, matching candidates to suitable vacancies and clients by conducting qualification and referencing. Develop a comprehensive understanding of the sector to enhance Employment Group's market presence.
  • Strive to maximize opportunities within your designated market to meet or exceed established targets.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to the values and service standards of the Employment Group brand.
  • Manage vacancies provided by the Account Management team and ensure the submission of suitable candidates within a 2-hour turnaround timeframe (3 submissions per requirement).
  • Review job descriptions and order negotiation checklists to ensure accuracy when submitting candidates. Candidates must possess all the required skill sets as specified in the order negotiation checklist and be fully onboarded in accordance with the process
  • Ensure that client requirements align with key processes and legislation, maintaining the highest standards of compliance.
  • Write and place job advertisements on job boards and the company website. Promote roles among colleagues, including role-specific and pooling advertising.
  • Utilize platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, Seek/Indeed resume searches, and other sources to source suitable candidates.
  • Conduct phone screens, registration processes (including completion of registration forms and WorkPro checks), and interviews.
  • Provide detailed, relevant, and timely information to candidates regarding job briefs for positions that may be suitable for them.
  • Verify and obtain relevant documentation for eligibility to work, including right-to-work and identification.
  • Conduct reference checks for candidates on the second interview or upon acceptance of an offer for contractors.
  • Maintain a pool of available and suitable candidates for commonly placed roles in all locations.
  • Keep regular contact with pooled candidates to ensure their ongoing engagement and suitability for future placements.
  • Update and maintain accurate candidate information in the database, store all required documents, and complete all activities in JobAdder.
  • Generate and provide timely and accurate reports to the Team Leader on a regular basis, meeting audit requirements.
  • While completing references, inquire if the caller uses agencies and seek permission for an Account Manager to discuss their needs.
  • Add companies and contacts from resumes into the system, assigning the lead to the relevant Account Manager in the respective state.
  • Exemplify the company's values and take proactive measures to create a positive culture, especially in challenging situations.
  • Champion initiatives aimed at fostering a highly engaged, high-performance culture that aligns with company values.
  • Adhere to and promote Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) practices, policies, and procedures, ensuring all work is conducted in a safe manner.


Qualification and requirements:

  • 5 years of experience in recruitment sourcing for blue-collar, trades or construction roles
  • Knowledge and experience in matching candidates to job briefs and ensuring maximum compliance with required skill sets
  • Ability to develop effective relationships across all levels
  • Ability to use judgment, act independently and take initiative
  • Ability to work calmly in a high-pressure situation
  • Good at multitasking and prioritization skills
