Data Steward

The North America Data team is working closely with the Channel and Sales teams to improve and govern the Channel Rebate Process more effectively. This will include new business processes, data analysis and management, and business and data governance with the Channel Teams.

We are looking for North America Data Steward who will be responsible for cleansing, transforming and managing rebate, point of sale, and inventory data with our channel team and partners. 

What will you do?

·         Work with North America IT, data, channel, and marketing teams to manage and update channel data related to rebate systems.

·         Maintain ongoing and detailed evaluation of channel rebate data quality by identifying anomalies and discrepancies and providing expertise to understand the root cause while implementing and tracking corrective measures

·         Serve as the primary contact for data quality issues related to Channel Rebate Data and be accountable for implementation of issue resolution.

·         Identify trends, or potential barriers / issues in our channel rebate data, and work with channel team to help resolve them.

·         Raise issues to data owners and if needed, escalate to the Channel Rebate Data Leader

·         Drive rebate data quality, accuracy and discipline within the channel and marketing teams working with our channel partners. 

Who would be successful?

·      Data Steward or Analyst with an associated degree, certification, or experience

·      An analytical person with experience including reading, analyzing, making decisions and solving problems based on data exports from SQL and other data platforms. 

·      Experience in data analysis with Excel. SQL, Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI, and/or other data management systems. 

·      Proficiency in using Microsoft Office programs with expertise in Excel.

·      Have an aptitude for learning and working in new IT systems.

·      Time and data management skills are essential to analyzing and managing the large volume of data.

·      Strong ability to cooperate and work in multicultural environment and work autonomously.

·      Proficient with English language (writing, speaking, and reading) proficiency 

·      Able to function in a new project with changing parameters in a fast paces and reactive environment
