About the role:
We are looking for a proactive professional to join our team. In this role, you will report to the CFO and manage enterprise risk across the organisation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining VCCI’s Enterprise Risk Register, Risk Appetite Statement, and Risk Management Framework. Your role involves identifying and assessing potential risks within VCCI, developing and implementing strategies to mitigate these risks, and conducting risk assessments for complex projects and processes as needed, collaborating with Senior Managers across the organisation.
Additionally, you will present quarterly risk management reports to the board. Your expertise will be highly valued, especially as we maintain ISO27001 certification with external auditors, ensuring that risk management is deeply integrated into our organization. About you:
The successful candidate will be an experience professional in enterprise risk and compliance, with the capability to excel at identifying and assessing potential risks, developing and implementing effective risk management strategies, and conducting thorough risk assessments for complex projects and processes. You will have the ability to build a rapport with others whilst also working with a high level of confidentiality, discretion and attention to detail.
In addition, you will have:
- Strong analytical skills and ability to think critically.
- Knowledge of risk assessment and control techniques.
- Experience with risk auditing and reporting procedures.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and previous experience working with C-suite level or Board of Directors.
- Familiarity with ISO27001 standards and regulations would be highly regarded but not essential if other selection criteria are met.
- Likewise, experience working with 6Clicks is also highly desirable but not essential
This position is part time, equivalent to three days per fortnight. Actual hours of work however can be adapted to suit the preferred candidate (i.e. equivalent hours worked over more days). The individual would need to be available to attend sub-committee meetings as required, however these meetings are scheduled well in advance.
