About the role

This role is responsible for leading and delivering high quality advice and services to Victorian Chamber members, customers and clients. The position will perform high level commercial consulting services that support outcomes in the areas of injury management, workcover claims and wellbeing. As part of the broader Workplace Relations team, there is also the opportunity to explore and move into other areas of interest including mediations, culture reviews and other workplace interventions.

This role requires an expert understanding of relevant legislative and regulatory frameworks, as well as a commercial mindset and a desire to improve outcomes around safety and workplace wellbeing.

About you

As a passionate professional with advanced communication skills, you will possess any of the following:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience in claims management, return to work, and/or mentally healthy workplaces and safety.
  • Comprehensive and up to date knowledge of relevant legislation including the emerging framework concerning risks, case law and broader health and wellbeing matters.
  • An ability to communicate and present to senior stakeholders with passion, confidence, and credibility.
  • Proven ability to identify key WHS issues and demonstrate experience with presenting appropriate resolution options and associated risks.
  • Demonstrated ability to actively seek and secure business opportunities.
  • Excellent communication skills including the ability to identify, interpret and discuss complex issues; in a way that is easy to understand.
  • Ability to develop and deliver professional programs and formal documents.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
