About the role

  • Permanent, Full Time Position

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality & Compliance Lead to join our team in Townsville. This is a permanent, full-time position (38 hours per week), reporting to the Head of Corporate Services.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring Connect’n’Grow maintains high-quality standards and full compliance with all state and national regulatory requirements. This position is critical to the ongoing success of our training operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Ensure compliance with ASQA, DESBT, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and update policies, procedures, and documentation to meet quality standards.
  • Oversee trainer qualifications and CPD requirements.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives using stakeholder feedback and compliance data.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and communicate updates to the team.
  • Manage reporting obligations and maintain strong document control systems.

 

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in a compliance, quality assurance, or RTO operations role.
  • Understanding of the VET Quality Framework, ASQA Standards, and government-funded training contracts.
  • Strong organisational and documentation skills, with a high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interpret and apply regulatory changes.
  • Experience in continuous improvement and managing audits or validations is highly desirable.
  • A collaborative approach with a passion for maintaining high standards across education and training environments.
