About the role and requirements:

Join our dynamic Pathways Link Programme—a pre-Foundation course designed to prepare international students (aged 15–17) for academic success. In this role, you’ll teach English and selected subject areas in small, collaborative classes alongside a team of supportive educators. We're looking for a passionate teacher registered with the Teaching Council of Aotearoa New Zealand, ready to make a lasting impact on young learners from diverse backgrounds.

We are looking for a teacher who can teach English and other subjects at a Y11-Y12 equivalent level, providing a caring, safe, and stimulating environment, with high academic expectations, excellent classroom management skills, and with an understanding of supporting English language learners.

You will teach a smaller class of international students who are studying a one-year pre-Foundation programme to prepare for a Foundation programme at our college. You will be joining a team of teachers and will be using an established curriculum (although we always welcome new ideas!).

Remuneration will be based on the successful candidate’s experience and qualifications. You must have current certification from the Teaching Council Aotearoa New Zealand. The position is full-time, permanent.

Note: We are not receiving applications from overseas candidates at this time.
